About the Author

Kelly Dancy.

By day, Kelly Dancy is a project manager in the insurance industry, which means she spends her working hours managing risk. By night, she creates it — on the page, anyway — as the author of The Broken Spine Mysteries.

There's also a husband: a genuinely good guy who still doesn't understand why she's so cheerful about killing people off. (Fictionally. He checked.)

When she's not plotting murder or mucking stalls, she's probably rearranging her bookshelves and calling it research.

"Every good mystery starts with someone who had it coming." — Kelly, probably
